New Year, New Need.

new year 2014

Dear New Years,

This week I have been thinking about what my New Year’s Resolution will be and this year will be the first year that I am no longer going to have New Year Resolutions. Why is that you might ask? Well, I never commit to resolutions. Resolutions are mostly WANTS and New Year’s resolutions should be about NEEDS. For example…

If you are overweight and at a serious health risk, the resolution should be the NEED to lose weight.

If you are a smoker and swear every New Year’s Day that you are going to quit smoking and give up few months later, the resolution this year should be a NEED to fight smoking addiction.

If you are going for the “New Year, New Me” resolution, the resolution should be the NEED to change your current habits that doesn’t please you ,or your peers.

New Year’s Resolutions should be about what you NEED ,not what you WANT!   Wanting means wishing and sometimes wishes do not come true, unless you are lucky. However, needing means chasing, thriving, and working hard for what you need to do to feel mentally and physically healthy. What I mean by healthy is not about weight and diet.

Healthy is all about happiness~

Congratulations and Beautiful Thanks!

Dear Happiness,

I have just checked the statistics about my blog MyFairDiary and congratulations to my blog that it has has reached 5, 000 views and 50 follower! Yay *throws confetti*

First of all I want to thank WordPress for creating such a awsome blog-making site. Without WordPress, I do not think any other website can help share my writing as much WordPress. WordPress by far is the best website.  No objections.

Most importantly I want to thank my followers and my reading audience.  To my old followers I want to say thank you for your most genuine support. To my new and latest followers,  I want to say welcome and thank you for your support as well. I promise to keep entertaining my reading audience.

Also, I would like to thank the bloggers from WordPress and non-bloggers for their likes and support as well. Hopefully my blog will appeal to your liking for you to start following.

If some of you are lost of what MyFairDiary is about. I honestly have to say that I am not sure myself but my hope for this blog is for people to understand life from my life experiences. I believe it makes people feel good about themselves and stay confident. My blog is not only life lessons for you but it is also for me. This blog makes me feel inspired and hopefully this blog can inspire other people to be the best they want to be.

You all do not know how happy I am  for my blog to reach that number of views and followers. I know some of you think 5, 000 views and 50 followers is not a big deal but what new bloggers like myself need to understand that blogging takes time. You cannot expect a million veiws and followers in a quickness like a week , month, or year. You have to be paitent. From my blog experience,  my blog only had 12 views for about three month. After those three months my blog started to gain interest.  Patients and commitment is the key to a successful blog. Now my blog is a success. …..yet. haha

Life Lesson #37: The hardest thing to do is commit , but the easy thing to do is to give up.

Thank You My Beautiful Readers, ♡♥♡♥

Valentine’s Day Anyone?

rose petals

Dear Cupid,

Valentine’s Day  is just  a few blocks away and I am sure the sweethearts are planning something romantic with each other. It’s funny because when I was a child, I thought Valentine’s Day was all about the candy. Hey, when we were elementary kids, we thought every holiday was all about sweets. However, Valentine’s Day is more about the roses, candy, and the creepy teddy bears.

Today, I realized Valentine’s Day is different now.  I see more couples than singles celebrating the holiday. Back then, I would see single people giving special gifts to other single people they really like. Now, I see most singles not sending valentine’s  to each other.   Has Valentine’s Day become a couple’s-only holiday?

Damn Valentine’s Day for being a couples-only holiday because I feel as if singles can have their chocolate cake and eat as much as of it as they want too. How? I can give you a few ideas.

I am not an “expert” of giving special advice but here is the list below~

1. Spoil yourself. ( Take yourself out for dinner, go to a spa, or etc)

2. Indulge yourself (sweets and chocolates)

3. Love yourself most importantly. There is nothing wrong with being single on Valentine’s Day and you should never blame yourself for something you want and hope for.

4. Spend the holiday with your best friends. Valentine’s Day is also about loving your friends.

For the couples, unfortunately I do not have a list of ideas of couple can do for Valentine’s Day because I have no idea of what to do for my boyfriend, Mr.Bird.  Eventually, I’ll figure out something.

Life Lesson #22: The only person that loves and supports you the most is yourself.

Happy Valentine’s Day~

P.S: If you have any ideas of what I should do for Valentine’s Day, please comment below. I would really appreciate it dearly.
