The Ratchet Neighbors Next Door

neighbor

Dear Neighbor Life,

Super Bowl Sunday was a very different super bowl night. It wasn’t the football game, nor the commercials. It was my crazy neighbors next door.

That Sunday night, my parents, Mr. Bird (my boyfriend) ,and I were on our way to a Super Bowl party. Our next-door neighbor was throwing a Super Bowl party as well. On our way out of the house, we saw a few of her guest parking their cars on the street. Since we lived in the cul-de-sac, we hoped that we would  have access to pull up to our driveway when we return home from the party.

Unfortunately,  when we returned home….there were a lot of cars blocking not only our driveway, but everyone else’s  driveway. So my parents knocked on her door to tell her that  some of her guest’s vehicles were blocking our driveway. Also, we told her that she should keep watch of her guest on how they park. Instead of the neighbor compromising, she goes off at us abot being friendly neighbors.

Okay….let’s think this through, shall we?

Neighbor THROWS Super Bowl Party, which means that SHE is the HOST of the party and the host RESPONSIBILITIES are to entertain and CONTROL her guest. Controlling her guest includes making sure that the guests are parking correctly without blocking his/her neighbor’s driveway. Did she do that? No.

Not only she let her guest park wherever they want, but she let the children play around on other neighbor’s yard! The children were playing football and basketball and have already had the ball hit  two of our vehicles. A child was playing on our front porch and another one was leaning against one of our cars. Our neighbor did not care to stop what they are doing So she thinks that we are not being fair friendly neighbors? Ever since she moved next door to us a few months ago, she has constantly been a problem. Every problem we try to resolve with her, she acts as if nobody cannot tell her what to do, for example, that Super bowl night. We tried discussing it, but instead she insults and disrespects us.

Oh, and did I mention she is also ghetto? Most of the time, I try not to judge about people, but as a human being I cannot help, but think that she is.  If some of you are offended, I apologize, but I must speak my mind.

If she would of just compromise and resolved it, we would not be in this neighborhood war, but we are. She declared it yesterday, but parking her car where my father parks his police car. Not only had she harassed us by driving around the cul-de-sac by our house honking her horn. She volumes up her music from her house loud trying get our attention. She also flipped us off on our way out to eat.  We were amused because she proved herself that she is not mature to handle simple situations. Sad.

I wonder what she is going to do for the rest of the week. It does not matter what she do to harass us, but eventually karma will have to do the trick by having her move somewhere else, or else we will.
